Family Tech Kit is for adult kids (and grandkids) helping a mom, dad or grandparent with technology. We focus on real situations, like memory loss, low vision, shaky hands, hearing loss or living alone, and turn them into clear device picks and step-by-step setup checklists.

How we choose and check devices

• Every device fact comes from the maker's official product or support page, and each listing links to its source.
• If we couldn't confirm a fact, we leave it blank or say "check the official page." We don't guess.
• The "fit" scores (0–3) are our editorial judgment about how well a device suits a situation. They are not medical ratings.
• Prices and plans change often. Always confirm on the maker's site before you buy.
